  what keeps earth falling into the Sun. Ever wonder despite of gravity is an attractive force , why earth and Sun don't collide with each other. Keeping two magnet opposite Poles near they collides if not hold back. Then why don't planets get Pulled into the sun. So here is that great why? Remember Earth is spherical in shape, not a perfect one But still shows its curvature. Similarly Sun is also spherical. So we won't be doing any math here, Just apply a single logic.i.e : imagin yourself at hight of 100 km and the Point of sight of Planet is say 80 km. Now you are falling with terminal velocity of 100 km Per hour downward But also moving say 90 km per hour Parrellel to the horizontal surface. Now every hour when you reach 100 Km downward you miss the surface By 10 km as you are moving at speed of 90km per hour and the surface is Just 80km in length.
